Marking one year (and a bit) since the opening of the Dublin Circus Centre we are delighted to open our doors to anyone and everyone on Saturday 24th September for an Open Day and Renegade event!
On the schedule is a full day of FREE and varied circus skills workshops, networking, socialising and all of that topped with some special performances followed by an ever popular Renegade. Workshops will be a taster in a variety of skills and so complete beginners are more than welcome to come along and join in. (Updates on precise workshops and timing TBC)
There will be activities on throughout the day in selected areas of the Circus Centre but there will still be space for people to chat, mingle, view the space and even have a bit of training of your own.
Timetable for the day is as following:
1-5pm: Open space and workshops
5-8pm: Workshops end, open space only
8-9pm: Set up for Renegade. We will need guests to vacate the space for approx. one hour.
9pm – late: RENEGADE!
We, the volunteers at Dublin Circus Project, have been steadfastly beavering away in the background, sometimes quietly, sometimes very noisly to transform this former mechanics garage into a Centre dedicated to circus arts development, training and classes. We are proud of how far we have come in a year and are looking forward to the distance yet to travel in the development of circus in Dublin.
This event is free to all the public, come celebrate with us!!
