Two Easter Camps with a circus twist!!
Roll up, Roll up! Dublin Circus Project will be hosting two Easter Camps for young people of ages 8 to 16. You are invited to join us for 4 days of serious fun and challenges. Running from 9.30 to 15.30 each day the camp will focus on balance, object manipulation and performance with special classes in acrobatics and aerial acrobatics.
Students can expect to try out a range of circus skills, learn tricks to wow their family, make friends and learn lots of fun new games. The camp will be rounded up with a performance for the teachers and students.
Circus skills have a wide range of benefits for practitioners such as improving hand-eye coordination, body awareness, balance and fine motor skills. They are non-competitive, focusing on collaboration and peer to peer learning. Circus is an area where sports meet arts and individualism is celebrated. With many disciplines to choose from each person can find their niche, whether it’s clowning or tight wire walking, we celebrate differences and encourage you to be adventurous and create new tricks.
