Hugo Hanssen Dutch acrobalance teacher will teach two workshops in Dublin Circus Project on Saturday the 24th of March and Sunday the 25th.
Details of workshops coming soon!!!
Here is a little about Hugo..
I started doing acrobatics in 1994 with the daughter of a gym teacher.
I got the acro-virus, and went to every acro-weekend I could find.
I’ve been taught by Fons, Noël, Frank, Rikus, Paul, Circusschool Leeuwarden and many others, too many to mention here, and I am still learning.
I have always had fun explaining others what I learned as much as I did learning it myself. So I started transferring my knowledge through workshops and classes.
I teach beginners to advanced. Since 2007 I have been teaching the Maastricht acrobatics group Acropolis. And since 2014 I am teaching the Acrodoorn group in Apeldoorn.
I usually teach parterre-acro/
In 2001 I started collecting books on acrobatics found how little there was written and started a database and made a website out of it: The acrobatics tricks database on the Internet (www.truuk.nl), a work that is far from ended but already copied endlessly.
I have (co-)organized and taught at many conventions like; the Dutch Acro Convention from 2009 up, the International Acrobatics Convention from 2013 until now. I gave workshops at every one of them as well as at uncountable acro-weekends all through Europe in cities like Paris, Zagreb, Nijmegen.
I am also active as acro-artist and am occasionally engaged in street theater, children’s circus and theater work.
I hope you will come out and play; we might even be able to spin off a little show!
Price will be confirmed soon, there will be a 10% discount for dcp members
(10%discount DCP monthly members)
