Part 1 – Tools to aid practice and technical development (13th/20th April)
Here we will teach participants effective training techniques to improve and expand their practice with. We will also help people develop their own personal practice by examining the concepts within juggling that they are interested in, leading them to achieve their own technical goals. This part of workshop is to explore the joy in the endless discovery of new possibilities and challenges that can be found in our juggling practice.

13th April – 14:30-20:30
Location: Cork Circus Factory

20th April – 10:30 – 17:30
Location: Dublin Circus Project

Part 2 – Juggling as a performative language (14th/21st April)
Due to its clear demonstration of skill and virtuosity juggling is commonly used in performances; both on stage, and in the street. A contemporary performer uses juggling in a myriad of ways and styles, often to the point of trying to convince the audience that the juggling isn’t even juggling but rather a representation of something else entirely. We will keep the focus on juggling as juggling, and the vast performative qualities which make it an effective and versatile tool for performances.

14th April – 11:00 – 17:30
Location: Galway Circus Project

21st April – 11:00 – 17:30
