Dublin Circus Project are proud to offer a training facility for the multitude of art forms under the vast medium of circus.
The Dublin Circus Centre provides a much needed platform for circus artists in Dublin to hone their skills through open training, to teach circus classes and workshops and run endlessly entertaining events. Whether you’re just starting out, a hobbyist or a seasoned pro the Dublin Circus Centre is open to all.
Equipped with crash mats, a wide variety of circus props, aerial rigging and apparatus (those seeking to train aerial must be Aerial Approved) and a 6.5 metre high ceiling, we provide open training and circus skills classes on a weekly basis. Along with our main space there is a studio equipped with a dance floor and mirrors, a mezzanine with a kitchen, seating area, office and bathroom, and a storage room. The Circus Centre is located at 76g Bannow Road, Cabra, Dublin 7 with buses and train connections just a two minute walk from the door (See map and detailed directions).
Become a Member!
Becoming a monthly member of the Dublin Circus Centre offers the ability to train and practice your circus skills every day of the week in a facility built expressly for that purpose. In need of crash mats for your acrobatic training? We’ve got you covered. Want to train aerial? We’re all rigged up and have plenty of height (that goes for jugglers and anyone in need of a high ceiling too). Just want to stop by for some fun? You are definitely more than welcome, we even have some props in-house for you to play with while you’re here!
We try to keep our prices down and as affordable as possible. To train in the Circus Centre you must be registered with DCP which involves filling out a form and an annual fee of €5 (registration also offers other benefits such as the opportunity to get involved in our Circus Theatre productions). After registering you can drop-in at the price of €5 per day or become a Monthly Member for the price of €30 per month or €80 for three months. Monthly Members have unlimited access for the month as well as being able to train outside of the official opening hours.
